A South Florida city leader was found dead in her home Wednesday, and her husband was in police custody, authorities said. Coral Springs Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer Bowen was found by police officers at around 10 a.m. Police Chief Brad Mock didn't provide any details about the circumstances of Bowen's death, saying it was being investigated as a "domestic violence incident."
